Heyooo!!

Super excited to showcase our work with Money20/20.

I've always held Money20/20 up as the highest example of conference marketing and design. Their content grabs attention, looks gorgeous and fun in the same breath, and sets the example everyone else is trying to copy.

I didn't truly understand why Money20/20 is what it is until I was on-site and met them in person. Money20/20 is what it is because of their people, their creative teams, and their on-site staff.

We had so much fun on set. The team did some George Washington bit where they dressed in a wig one day meandering around the conference, trying to figure out what the hell cryptocurrency was, lol. Wrote it, acted in it, shot it on site, pushed it to social same day.

What Money20/20 does better than anyone

Every stage becomes a world of its own through creative design. Money20/20 takes you on a sensory journey through every part of the conference, igniting wonder while holding one cohesive brand. My own experience as a photographer and producer was heightened and encouraged by their creativity, and if it can inspire greatness in our team, it does the same for attendees, vendors, and everyone else in the room. The value of art and design is directly tied to the emotional, personal, and financial investment of its participants, which means better results for everyone. It puts a nail in the coffin of any doubt: art matters.

We learned a lot from them: how to balance luxury and entertainment and how to execute a premium product at scale. Always grateful for those who take a chance on us!

Perfecting color,
lighting, art, and design.

Money20/20 approaches stage design and experience like no other. Each one is a world within its world. Each session is like a cinematic film set with its own color tones. It allows photographers to produce images that feel different but cohesive and keeps audiences engaged throughout the conference. It transforms and inspires.

Embedded for four days.

Speakers walked off the stage and onto social the same day.

Capture, edit, and delivery lived under the same roof, in the same hours. By lunch, the morning's stage shots were on the client's drive. Speakers got branded animated GIFs the same day they walked off stage.

What event pros can learn from Money20/20.

Lesson 01 · Stage Design

Transform the blank box. Build a world per stage.

A stage entirely encased in plants. A giant boombox serving as the entrance to "off-the-record" panels. A beehive lounge with beekeepers, honey, and bees. Turning an empty hall into something extraordinary takes a budget, but it starts with creative passion. That's what keeps people engaged, excited, and eager to return.

Lesson 02 · Marketing Voice

Approachable luxury, set by people with personality.

Money20/20's marketing, under Kathryn Frankson, pairs humor with high production value. It sets a tone of approachable luxury, and it attracts an esteemed audience. Hiring executives with experience and personality makes a measurable difference.

Pin this to the wall

Build a world per stage. Hire personality. Move at the speed of social.

“Anyone onsite at an event knows you have one chance. One chance to make the work soar and capture the magic that was months or years in the making. Big Event Media not only captured the essence of Money20/20 through their incredible work, but their partnership was world class. The ability to connect with the energy of the team, the design, the attendees, the partners, the award winners. That takes real nuance. We'll be pulling from their work for years to come.”
